Harry Cannister
Just found this on-line if anyone's going for a pre/post match slurp. The Seabournes (The Bell) in Pokesdown now welcomes away fans as well for most games. However, for certain games Police may instruct the pub to adopt 'home fans only' so do check our twitter updates. It is worth noting it is mainly home fans but welcomes all fans happy to have a beer and chat. It's opposite Pokesdown station so you can't miss it. If you are coming in a large group of away fans, wearing colours etc looking for typical football pubs you'll find the other big pubs near the ground are now home fans only. Designated away pubs are usually in Bournemouth (for high profile games) or at least two can be found in Boscombe just a short walk from Pokesdown along Christchurch Rd. The Percy Shelley is a Wetherspoon, although this is a 'no colours' pub, whilst 'Mello Mello' next door is also open to away fans. Neither will win awards for good food or pub of the year award, but it depends what you are looking for. As always check before you go because this can change at any moment. Dorset Plod run a twitter feed which gives good updates on where to go for pubs (if you fancy drinking behind a line of Police out of a plastic cup). If you want to sample decent beer or food, other places in and around Pokesdown will of course accept away fans, er, 'undercover', but big groups wearing colours and starting a sing song will probably mean goodbye. Due to one or two incidents over recent years there is a zero tolerance when it says home fans only.

Earlsfieldowl
Its a retirement home paradise. Maybe we can subtly offload some of the more elderly players whilst we are down there..

Nick the Owl
Not sure 60 Million postcards is a great idea, they're normally ridiculously strict on entry to there on bank holidays/Sat nights, anymore than 2-3 lads in a group and you're not getting in, strict dress code etc. All depends on if they've got door staff on though. Aruba and Hot Rocks next to it at the pier are good, but usually the Spoons in Boscombe is where most away fans drink and it has always been full of Wednesday when we play Bmouth (they let people wearing colours in) and it's only 5 mins walk from ground. bradowl
Sure there's another Wetherspoons near sea front, called The Moon over ocean or something like this. It was full of Wednesday fans last time we were down. Edited April 14, 2014 by bradowl
