Liam_Baggies
22.27 arr 23.22 22.48 arr 23.38 Bostin! How far away is the ground from the Train Station?
Galaxypuppet
It's walkable. About 10 minutes. I used to live 2 minutes from the ground. Come out of the station on the right hand side, cross over the road and turn left. (Ie not the immediate left as you come out) there's a kind of fork. Hope that makes sense! Guest BirdonaMaguire
Closer to a 20 minute walk but easily doable.

matthefish2002
I am disspointed this is on a Friday night on Sky. Even at £28 we would have took a good following. Away night matches always feel a bit of a rush getting there.
Guest intercity0wl
Defo a train job. Can't see M1 being to kind at this time on a friday. After taking three and half hours to get to Wigan i was amazed when i saw that the ICO was not setting off till 4.30 on an M1 rush hour Friday, with all the speed restriction in place at the moment. Wont affect me but if i was traveling with them i would be slightly concerned about arriving relaxed and having time for a pint or two.

You mean they won't have time to sit in the ground and read through the program before kick off.

Bit harsh, they still support the same team, albeit with a different pre match ritual to us.

Guest BirdonaMaguire
Cos not all of em are like that, some like a pre match slurp like us lot but just choose the ease of the ICO.

Nah I was on the train, not been on the coach since I was about 19, in fact I remember the last time was Gillingham in 2000, I had to endure Fishcake. Actually, I didn't think too much about it, but isn't their stadium 2 streets away from Filbert street anyway? (Raw Dykes Road I think it is called) Edited March 14, 2014 by Galaxypuppet
