Not as depressing as they could have been had we gone under a couple of years ago.But depressing non-the-less The promotion from The third division, or whatever they call it these days gave a buzz to the entire fanbase. Rekindled the embers. Yes, some dared to dream we'd do a Southampton and go straight through. Yes. That's right. We didn't. And the mundane realities of normal life for 90 odd League clubs was resummed. The boringness of life is always the more hard hitting after a party. We have no manager. An Average team. - at best A chairman who wants out and is unwilling to spend. A restless fan base. We debate all day about. Colin or Gray. Milan being tight or not. About Maguire being given the cold shoulder. Whether Nuhiu is actually a footballer. Whether the stadium is a crumbling relic of a by gone age or a Mecca to our footballing souls. But that is too complicated and the universe is s simple place. Yes. A simple place. The only way to get out of this is to create at atmosphere of positivity. Unity and energy. To see Wednesday surge up the table and go on a stunning cup run spurred on by a united nay , poor choice of word, Unified voiciferous fanbase ! To see this great club soar back to the sumit of English football ! And it can all be done with one simple action !!! Bring back the plain blue sock with a white top. Simple. For too long we have upset the natural balance of the footballing Universe and upset the Gods stood on the great kop in the Cosmos.... ...with our poo kits !! We can be the kings once more ! The clues are all there in our history ! Black shorts. Blue Sock -White top. Three broad blue stripes Thats all ! No fancy cobblers and we can be winners again !!! Winners I tells thee. Winners !! Nurse. NURSE !! NURSE !! MY head hurts. ARRRRRRRrggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!! Make it go away. Mwaaahh dribble dribble. It's the white hoop...the white hoop !! Banking crisis. Financial crashes. We can blame the Taylor Report. All seater Stadiums (i refuse to say Stadia. Sound made up) We can blame Di Canios petulance. We can blame Steve Boulds kryptonite boots ruining the last son of Cudworth. But really. Really we have to look deeper. Bring back the White Hoops ! Bring back the Magic !! Just a bloke.
