IstillhateSteveBould
He's not a crap player, he just looks it in our team.
kidc77
Here it is again another striker has a bad game, doesn't matter that none of our forwards have had any service in years its always the forwards faults. If brains were dynamite our fans would not have enough to blow off a hat
owls maniac
He's crap. Too slow, clumsy, and for a big lad surprisingly lightweight. Never looks like scoring in a million years. There's only one team who would buy him and sadly it's us. What the rumble does Maguire have to do to get a run of games?
Miffed
He ran himself into the ground against Leicester, the man didn't stop running. Today he looked tired, but I can't fault him for effort. You need to remember that he hasn't played consistently for the first team and to play two games in quick succession against teams near the top of the table is asking a lot. I think he needs a run of games and maybe a couple of goals to bring out his confidence to express himself and show what he is capable of. It also worries me that he is the only striker at our club that is ours, two things we can thank DJ for.

So you're forgetting free header he put over first half, mistake by Forest keeper which he fluffed completely, and numerous other chances where he took too long to shoot? Jesus Christ. owls maniac
If he wants to improve his confidence burying sitters like that would be a good place to start. He hasn't got it in him.
Mr Farrell
The amount of creaming over him that people did on here still raises a smile. What part of can't run, jump, or score goals made him such an amazing player ? Not his fault, but League 1 at best.
richowl
He should have scored the header & make the keeper work from the error though. Far bigger problems in the squad than him.

Hirstys left peg
That chance he missed from when the keeper gifted it him was awful Puts a reyt shift in but unfortunately he's no threat at all, has no goal scoring instinct what so ever, also never seen a player as big as him win so few headers, looks to be smaller when he jumps To think he's our only available forward on the books
Guest Sheff Owl
The problem is Nuhiu missed that chance after the keeper messed up and it would have totally changed the game. They couldn't have afforded to time waste then and they would have chucked more players forward, the minute they went 1 nil up the game was over. kidc77
As per my statement not enough to blow off a hat, no offence Jon but you are either the forums biggest wind up merchant or a empty head with a IQ of about 20 because you never talk any sense Every striker worth their salt misses easy chances and pretty regularly, at least he put himself in the right position. jeffers9
As much as I want him to succeed the lad just isn't good enough. The thing is that we haven't had a decent striker of our own for years!
marconi
No pace, no aerial threat, can't score. No end of match fitness will improve on that. Gary Madine MK2. Threw a lazy boot at a quality cross in the first half also. Why do we sign dross like this. Hirsty must be pulling his hair out. chirpyowl
Far bigger problems in the squad than him. Given that Wickham can be recalled at 24 hours notice and we have no one else. I'd say this was a pretty big problem.

(Like it has all season) A draw would have been a fair result. He should have done better with the chances though. He's not a 20 goal a season striker. .....probably won't even get you 10 (not in our team) but he's a good partner for a out and goalscorer, like we saw Tuesday night.
