'Little Old Yeovil'  was written this summer by Brendon Owen in tribute to the wonderful times that Yeovil have enjoyed since Magic Johnson returned to our club.  Amongst those memorable moments recorded in the book that will live large in Yeovil fans memories is the superb winning goal at Huish Park, scored by Edward Upson (he of Sheffield Star spoof congratulations announcement) in the second leg of the Play Off Semi-Final.

You Owls have proved how subtle you are from your clever examples of humiliation of the other side.

Would it not be good to have a copy lying on the office desk or in the work place when your Blades colleague  passes by? You need say nothing to bring them to their knees. The shame and disappointment will course through their veins at the very sight of the title.

The book has been written to raise funds for the Adam Stansfield Foundation.  Adam was a Yeovil player ten years ago, went on to play for Hereford Utd and Exeter City.  He died of bowel cancer at the age of 31. His family have set up the foundation to raise money to help underpriviledged kids to get into sport, especially football. They will finance football boots, summer schools and teams setting up.

The book retails at £9.99 but to Owls I can offer it for £6.00 and still give a donation to the Foundation. A further £1.50  will cover the cost of p&p.

Easiest and most cost effective way of purchasing a copy is by PayPal to Brendonowen@aol.com, with your delivery address.

I look forward to coming to Hillsborough next Saturday for a good contest between us.  Beware Little Old Yeovil!!

Thanks for reading this.
