Guest David Eric Hirst
Hirst was a fantastic striker who should have had more caps for the national side, in my opinion. I am not really a Sheffield Wednesday supporter these days and do not follow results but they were probably my "second team" during the 1990s and Hirst was one of my favourite players outside of my own club. Guest David Eric Hirst
Took hirst a few months to get going- Everyone was slagging hirst off on some strange device called the Internet and demanding we replace hirst with john Pearson as JP was a wednesdayite and part of a cherished promotion season. Eck
how many have gone on to be better players elsewhere, than they were here after a move? loads. Dan petrescu to chelsea and Ian Taylor to villa spring to mind from the 90s era.
Guest Retfordowl74
Early 90s... Great times to be a Wednesday fan. Fantastic attacking football. Live in hope that they return in my lifetime!!!
