As I said in a previous post... You either spend the money you can afford to (i.e. what you generate)

Or... Your owner carries on putting money in (Huddersfield owner).

Milan's pocket isn't a bottomless pit of cash.

He cannot carry on inputting the money he has done over the past 3 years. He doesn't have the money to do so.

It's bloody simple.

Where do you propose the money comes from to buy players?

Its a big problem for us.

Ultimately we wont get any decent TV money unless we're in the premier league and then its enormous and still growing.

So the club can only generate extra income through commercial activities, gate receipts, income on match days.

Almost all these income streams rely on the fan base.

If you alienate the fan base with performances AND results then the club is in trouble.

Fans go to matches to get away from the daily hassles that life throws at you. They want to enjoy the experience not suffer the totally inept garbage we witnessed yesterday.

Football managers are in the results AND entertainment business whether they like it of not. Dave Jones seemed so focussed yesterday on a futile and flawed attempt to get a result that entertainment went out of the window and inevitably so did the result.
