Guest UpTheOwlsss
How many do you think we need in?and what positions? A lot of fans seem to think we need a Treacy or Ben Pringle type of winger but I doubt we will sign one of those types I'd say we need a CM and 2 ST Olinfinjana, then for the striker someone like: Lita,Waghorn,Leon Clarke, ebanks Blake, sharp,Tomlin If we're going for the cheap option Kevin lisbie knows where the net is and has one good season left in him IMO
@owlstalk
As good as Olinfinjana is hes not going to increase our shots on target or goals per game Owlstalk Shop

trevdi9
decent midfield magician to feed the front men and a decent striker to finish things off ,we have many workers but no finesse a blend of both would work enough to move us up the table , Edited August 18, 2013 by trevdi9

Guest UpTheOwlsss
Kevin lisbie has already got 4 goals this year Got 16 last year With us only having a free fish and chip coupon it could be a decent buy

Buxtongent
Always thought that Leon Clarke badly treated by most of our spectators. He always put in a full shift, drew two defenders to him, and always looking to attack the goal. He scored quite a few crackers too.
HOOTIE AND THE SHIT TU
1 Striker 2 Central Midfiled players Prutton and Coke did okay in parts yesterday, I won't question their work rate But we need work rate aligned to creativity, and neither provide creativity To me it looks like we are playing with 2 sets of back four, one in front of the other We're going in compact and difficult to break down Then we rely on pace to break forward Not only have we not got a cutting edge, we don't create much either Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife. Guest alxlee
I personally want to see a bit more of Ryhs McCabe on the pitch. He might be the answer.
Guest wilyfox
We need a playmaker, someone that makes us tick in the middle third. I think both Prutton and Coke played ok yday, but we can't expect much more from them. They are performing to the limit of their ability. Another striker is a must, in addition. Maguire didn't show enough yday, and his link-up with Nuhiu was fruitless.
Eastern
Leon Clarke. He excels in League One. Not always the most effective in the Championship. Although his goals were sublime yesterday.

Part of me feels the same, but I reckon DJ is waiting for the penny to drop with McCabe. His transition from talented youngster to senior pro isn't going smoothly. Guest UpTheOwlsss
Are things really that bad were debating Leon flipping Clarke? Yeah I mean a league 1 striker with a great scoring record is someone we shouldn't be looking at Warren feeney should be a prime target
VictoryBell
For God's sake, will you please title your threads with something a bit more specific? you might as well start one called "Wednesday". Fock me, I'm starting to sound like one of the "30 posts per day or I can't get to sleep" brigade. I really ought to consider doing a "Beholder" (again). And Kevin Lisbie?! I'd much rather have COG back.

He undoubtably had talent, but over 90 minutes his contributions were often poor.
