New offers for Owls six

Recommended Posts

Sheffield Wednesday have offered new contracts to Lewis Buxton, Jermaine Johnson, Miguel Llera, David Prutton, Giles Coke and Stephen Bywater.

The club have issued the new contract offers to the players and their agents.

Academy products Adam Hinchliffe and Hayden White have also been offered professional contracts.

First team squad members Nicky Weaver and Julian Bennett and youngsters Matthew Fletcher, Harry Grant and Bastien Hery have not been offered new deals at the club.

Meanwhile, the Owls can also confirm the departure of Nejc Pecnik. The forward has left the club by mutual consent.

The Owls would like to thank all outgoing players for their services and wish them well for the future.

Hayden White? Why not say he's moved on? Crazy.

Maybe because we've offered him a contract to stay? They are entitled to do so you know

I think that pretty much clears up things though, he never signed a contract in the first place and either him or his agent are looking for more money

surely Bywater won't want to be number 2 keeper ? He could reject the offer.

Why that's good for bywater he's usually 3rd or 4th choice

flippingeasy money he will be well happy

Think the key word here is 'offered', they may well turn it down, which would probably be the case for White. So nothing official yet apart from for sure we know Weaver, Bennett and Pecnik are gone.
