Guest TC OWL
This club must have the best fans in The Championship by a country mile. We are taking 5,000 fans away to Peterborough on Saturday to the penultimate game of the season. That in itself is brilliant support after the season Wednesday have had. We are still mathematically capable of going down, although it's unlikely now. But STILL our fans remain resolute to the end. I won't be there, I work every other Saturday and can't get a swap (Gutted). So have a great day all of you and help bring back the points. You're Fookin' Fantastic the lot of ya!!! stewtheowl
After the last 10 or so seasons taking 500 to Peterborough on a saturday evening would in my eyes be seen as good support let alone 5000. Theres at least 75 clubs in the league who would kill for our level of support.
eDDie
Far too much mutual back slapping on here recently. Yeah, let's all treat each other like cunts more. It's the main reason I'm proud to be a Wednesdayite. Our support away from home is eclipsed only by L**ds and West Ham - and they've had plenty to cheer in the last twenty years. We're the envy of the League.

BingleyOwl
Yeah, let's all treat each other like cunts more. It's the main reason I'm proud to be a Wednesdayite. Our support away from home is eclipsed only by L**ds and West Ham - and they've had plenty to cheer in the last twenty years. We're the envy of the League. West Ham's average away following last season was 2,700 and they won promotion!! It is only 100 or so more than our average this season and we've been in the bottom four most of the season. Leeds are currently averaging just short of 3,000 which, on average, is just over 300 more fans than us. Considering they've been in the top ten most of the season and we've been in the bottom four, I think it's flipping fantastic.

This is totally my point, If we were banging on the prem door, we'd be p1ssing on West Ham's attendances, maybe even the M1 Viles. Exactly. I reaffirm my belief that The Wednesday have the best support in the Championship and much of the Prem. Let me mention Brighton, they're getting good crowds at the moment. But it is a classic case of new stadium syndrome. Exactly the same happened to Hull a few years ago. In four-five years when Brighton have found their true level as a mid-Championship side, they will be averaging 14,000 I can guarentee it.

Guest christheowl
Dont intend on beating the MASSIVE stick. But I said to my mate yesterday, how many other clubs would take that for a late kick off ? I could only name us and Leeds to be honest. *outside the prem Edited April 24, 2013 by christheowl

Guest GreenGoose
200 Tickets left. If we sell them then I accept it's impressive. But it's not yet.
