Garry Powell
why couldn't we risk him. he's on loan so eligaible. otherwise make it a 3 week loan not a month.

Bluesteel
He was another body to help with our injury situation but I was a bit disappointed.

Glaser
Strange, strange signing this one. At best, all that was ever going to come out of this loan, was Holden going back to Bolton fitter than he arrived. Bolton were the only team who would benefit. His game is about energy, industry, dictating play and a box to box nature. Being unfit meant the main facets of his game were missing. He didn't stamp his authority on any of the performances he played in. Can't blame the player, he is technically sound, just not the fitness situation we required

latemodelchild
Take him on loan but don't use him in case he gets injured. I assume we haven't paid his wages for this week?
NeonLeon
Guessing the "favour" could've been to do with money. Showed glimpses of what he's about. Waaaay of the pace at the minute. Needs a good Pre season behind him.

FlyingOwl
I was impressed with him vs Barnsley, but obviously not match fit. I don't think we're the best fans to judge loan players anymore...as they always seem to leave and do well
Ash_SWFC
Didn't really have anything to do when he played, but fitted in well when he did play..
SallyCinnamon
https://twitter.com/stuholden/status/325688325635723264 Didn't contribute much, but I'm glad we gave him the opportunity to play games and get fit again. Hope he stays injury free and rediscovers the form he had earlier in his career. A fantastic player before his injury.

Guest JonTheOwl66
Americans believe Stuart Holden will be their best player at the 2014 World Cup (should they qualify). His quality was there for all to see. I'd say that this signing was more down to us attempting to set up a 'partnership' with Bolton. A 'you help us, we help you' type of thing. Good luck to Stu. Bolton could well end up going up in the play-offs... Fantastic run of form they're in at the moment.
