@owlstalk
Sheffield Wednesday are pleased to report that the recent trend of a small minority of supporters setting off smoke bombs, flares and fireworks at home and away fixtures has significantly subsided. The club have a zero tolerance policy regarding the above offences and will continue to adopt a position of high vigilance through the remainder of the current campaign and beyond. To re-iterate, anyone found to be in possession of any banned item, whether set off or not, will receive an indefinite club ban from Hillsborough and all away matches. Such an offence will also lead to arrest by the Police followed by a charge and criminal record. All supporters should be aware that it is an offence to be in possession of such articles at a designated sports ground. Thank you for your co-operation. @owlstalk
can't wait for Peterborough just bought a box of 50 *note - police monitor this board for posts like the above - and can make arrests for incitement if anything happens - not wise to post posts on the subject in jest because others don't get the humour and take it seriously!* Owlstalk Shop

@owlstalk
Owlstalk under police surveillance. Always has been It's a natural place for them to check and monitor for any potential trouble They spoke to me at the last match re: the flares situation and advised that the posters (not the site) could be done for incitement for posting about buying flares/fireworks to use at matches and said it might be an idea to let everyone know this so that there's no members on here landing themselves in bother by making jokes The main issue is that some people read Owlstalk and think it's like a deadly serious site (only have to look at those posting in the party thread who don't 'get it' to see what I mean) The police suggested that a daft thread about fireworks/flares etc was being taken as serious by others who were devoid of the ability to detect irony, satire and humour and this could then result in Owlstalkers getting dragged into poo situations for a quick daft post Owlstalk Shop
