BBC PREDICTOR

Recommended Posts

So, one week on - how thins change. Thought we were easily safe after Millwall, now absolutely pooing it.

Just done the BBC Predictor again...

Had us losing 2 and drawing one - leaving us on 55 points.

We stay up by 1 point, with Burnley, Blackburn and Bristol going down. Who would have thought that possible 4 weeks ago?!

Basically, if you are in the bottom half of the league and you lose your remaining 3 games... You are going down. poo poo the bed time.

How'd you lot see it?

Blackburn will not go down.

I have just done the predictor too. I gave us 2 points and we stay up by one point plus goal diffence!

I think 59 points is safe based on the fact teams have to play each other but not run all permatations

Perhaps, but as we've seen from people above... 55 or 57 could be enough.

Gonna be one hell of a rollercoaster

Darra, wouldn't have thought Wolves could beat Hull this evening but they have. I thought they'd want to secure promotion back to the premier league asap, therefore Wolves wanted survival on the night more than Hull wanted the promotion based on the result.

I and many others have just given up on trying to work this league out, it's gone totally stir crazy this season and would love to know when was the last season that safety was 56+ points.

totally agree mate that's why I'm pinning my hopes on the law of averages

update after tonights matches

Ipswich will finish on 60 points

We will finish on 58 points

Huddersfield will finish on 56 points

Blackburn will finish on 55 points

Peterborough will finish on 55 points

Wolves will finish on 55 points

Barnsley will finish on 54 points

Bristol will finish on 43 points

so  Bristol will finish bottom spot with Barnsley and  Wolves Peterborough or Blackburn taking the other relegation places

Burnley have got Cardiff on Saturday.

A result either way could prove good for us.

A Burnley win would mean if Hull beat Bristol at home on Friday then they go into Barnsley knowing a win could put the title race down to the last day.

But if Cardiff win then obviously Burnley slip deeper into the shiit.

I reckon if Hudds don't take 3 points off Milwall Saturday you can count them down.

It's a throw up between Barnsley and Wolves for me.

Think Peterborough will beat us at their place if we're as good as safe by that game.

I can't believe the staggered ko times for the next three games. Piles the pressure onto teams ten times more.

I think we can take heart from Burnley's run in being slightly tougher, yet identical to ours.
