Why?

It's our first season in this division and with a couple of exceptions, every team who gets promoted, their aim to to stay in the division then build on that each season.

MM could have panicked and sacked DJ a couple of months ago but didn't which may have suprised a few people but it could be a shrewd move.

If we stay up, we will have a squad who have a season in this division under their belts and based on the 2nd half of this season and with a good experienced manager in DJ then i cannot see us in the same situation next year.

I agree we need to strengthen in certain areas and have a bit more competition but that is dowm to MM and DJ to sit down and work out our budget.

We are not Leicester or Cardiff and able to throw money at the squad (which we know what can happen when we have tried that before)

One thing i would say that if we start next season poorly then maybe, maybe DJ may go.

I think MM will have 1 or 2 more seasons with us so would like us to get promoted in that time to get profit on what he has invested and to leave on a high so maybe next year could see him him being more ruthless.

DJ has not failed if we stay up so why sack him????

Why has he got to go, when over the last 20 games we have averaged 1.75 points per game, lying 4th overall? And when are the dream team of Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho starting?
