Guest wilyfox
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/8641752/ Sheffield Wednesday's on-loan midfielder Stuart Holden has hinted he may stay with the club until the end of the season. The 27-year-old United States international has played three times for the Owls since arriving on an initial one-month loan spell from fellow Championship side Bolton. Holden, who spent two years on the sidelines through injury, is aiming to use his spell at Hillsborough to impress and prove his fitness. "I have two games left and we will re-evaluate it at that point," said Holden, who started for Dave Jones' side in Saturday's defeat at Leeds. "It's until April 24 and we said both managers would sit down and have a chat and see where we go and there's a possibility I could be here until the end of the season. "I'm happy the games are fast and furious. I feel fitter and stronger with every game and more comfortable and for me, it's about getting games, but at the same time contributing and making sure I leave here having made an impact. "Everyone at the club has made me fantastically welcome." the injuries we're carrying could make it a necessity, from our point of view...
Orlando_Trustful
If we're safe then there's no point in him staying.
TheBoyBeevers
If we're safe then there's no point in him staying. If we're definitely safe (i.e win both of our next two games) by the time his current loan expires, it would be pointless to keep him really. If we're not trying to sign him and we don't need him, why do it? Rather see us play McCabe for the last couple given his early season promise and obvious ability. Beholder
DJ has defended him in his interview saying we lost something when he went off on sat. In my opinion we lose something by his inclusion. The only people who are gonna benefit are Bolton in the playoffs. If he gets fit enough to be effective they will have him back.
Guest JonTheOwl66
Would be madness to pass Holden up. Surely you want the best possible team playing? Hope he stays until the end of the season.

SallyCinnamon
He's been a passenger in the two games i've seen him play. However I think it is good we are doing him and Bolton in getting him match fit, be a shame to see such a talented player's career go down the pan. senwar
He hasn't done that much but I thought he had a good first half on Saturday, certainly the last 25 mins or so. Was disappointed when he went central but that was forced as such. Not bothered either way to be honest.
