brownowl91
Is he related to Alan? Smith... Former physio? Yeah and Alan's other son andy is at villa, I played for wickersly and Rotherham for 10 years with Paul, decent right winger and was at Wednesday aswell. We played games at back of Alan's house on a Sunday and likes of Sterland chapman even shearer would pop out with Alan to watch our games, was a top man and also gave lads free treatment if any injury problems. Paul was always obviously a big fan an seen him couple of times over last few years since he got his 'dream job' and he down to earth as ever. Thurnscoe_OWL
My step dad did his back in a couple of years ago and was referred to Paul Smith. In his office there are pictures with all the big name sports stars that have been to see him and all the wednesday players that have ever been injured
brownowl91
People forget Alan was England physio and all best footballers in the country continued going to him when he retired, also other seen other sports stars at his place like will carling and micheal Vaughan. Alan always says that if big Ron had stayed we would have won the premiership and that he was best manager he worked with. He left and stayed away from the club for a few years because of an incident with Francis but is active around the club again now and Paul seems to be getting his own good reputation, his work with Kirkland reda and Gardner can't be underestimated this season
horny owl
Alan smiths legs always looked too short and they moved at a thousand steps per minute when he ran onto the pitch with his bucket and sponge

Guest Sheff Owl
Always remember Alan Smith was on the field treating Paul Warhurst (when he swallowed his tongue) before the referee had chance to blow his whistle. I'm sure Smith even set off before Warhurst even hit the floor.
Guest s35woody
No matter what the injury the player seemed to get a head bandage!!!! Which was so big it covered his eyes!!! Loved him!
