warner
I was just wondering because it seems a bit of a coincidence that this news comes out just after the hayden white news, just picked this up from twitter "Arsenal, Fulham and Sunderland are all in the hunt for 18-year-old Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Ayo Obileye. (Daily Star)"
SallyCinnamon
Obileye is a defender for starts. Interesting though, possibly does have the same agent.
Ever the pessimist
Was he the one who had the horrific game at bradford in the JPT? Obviously can't write him off after one match as a youngster but still . . .

gurujuan
He has been playing in midfield recently but does probably have the same agent as I believe they both arrived from Hackney at the same time.

lesbarbeux
Two ways to look at this, great that we may finally be producing homegrown talent again and may net us a profit....good too that we may actually have youngsters coming up through the ranks to make the first team eventually, but losing them to the big boys...not so sure about that. gurujuan
I think it's good that we have started looking further afield for young talent, we haven't exactly had much joy with what's on our doorstep

Ever the pessimist
I thought pessimists wrote everything off automatically anyway? Not everything - only the potentially good things. I have not written off losing heavily tonight for example
blueandwhitematt
My first thought was 'same agent' - but I'd imagine the academy will know if there is any real interest or not, and thus negate any agent manoeuvring.
gurujuan
I wonder if any of these lads would have been more involved with the first team had we been sat comfortably in mid table
