Awilsonowl
Or8, my first post on here and thought I'd start off with a very mild moan; At yesterday's game I sat on the South Stand compared to my usual seat at the back of the kop where I have purchased a season ticket for next season. Now I was hardly expecting a particularly exciting atmosphere on this stand but you don't realise how dead it actually is until going to see a game on it. It's almost like there is a zero tolerance to chanting on this entire stand. Ok, I understand that some people may not like chanting etc but resisting the urge to do the Reda/JJ dance yesterday was a more than difficult task! You felt like, if you did, you'd get the dirtiest looks going. In my opinion I just think that the South Stand needs a bit of life injecting in to it. I just wish that people would put their curly salmon sandwiches down for a while and let them self go for a bit. What could be better than all 3 of our stands rocking the place? @owlstalk
Good first post and youre right South Standers are reyt boring pretty much all of the time Not chanting is one thing but tutting at those who do is unacceptable Owlstalk Shop

Awilsonowl
There was some atmosphere actually... about 4 blokes near the boxes at the back but apart from that it was dead as
dorian gray
i've been in a handful of times, it's dire... my neighbour gave me a free ticket against bristol rovers last season, and to be honest i was close to paying and goin' in't norf... when i have been in there, we've always walloped who we've played, but if it were free, i don't think i could go in there on a regular basis, i enjoy life and footy too much... you're dead for a long time, no need to start early by goin' in't sarf... Dore Owl
Would be better if we moved all the moaners on the kop to the south so people that wanted to could enjoy themselves without being tutted.
killaowl
was on there myself yesterday instead of the cant and thought the same, no singing at all, but on the up side sandwiches and sausage rolls were lovely at full time
edinburghowl
It's a different Matchday experience on the South. Good for a change with the hospitality but other than that it's not great and I agree that something does need to be done. The view from the Grandstand is great but it's not worth going to because of the lack of atmosphere. In fairness I wouldn't ever sit on the Kop through choice either. Crap view and atmosphere on there these days.

Alright it's nothing on the view of the other two stands but you can't fault it up there for atmosphere
adamb1253
Speaking of the South Stand - why have they put segregating netting on that final block on the South?? Now, I know that there isn't a massive demand for tickets in that area, but it's not as though you can get anywhere near the visiting fans from there...You'd have to walk past the area where the police/stewards huddle, into the lower tier (where there are stewards), up the stairs (where there are stewards) - all without someone noticing you and stopping you... It looks tacky
Greeny79
Agreed, went on there for the derby last season and wycombe game as north had sold out (view from kop is crap) atmosphere was ok on them games thankfully, no way was I going to be sat on my hands, been other times and when getting a bit ''passionate'' felt like i'd done a big turd on my seat way some folk looked at me how you can go to Wednesday games and just sit and clap now and again, I don't get it at all..sack that poo
