Kirkland 6, stupid to give pen away and should have come for Dann's goal

Buxton 7, solid but not quite as effective as usual

Gardner 6, solid enough but again not quite up to his usual standards

Llera 6, out jumped by Dann's who is a good five inches shorter for their second goal

Reda 7, where the hell does he go at times? Turned up on the right wing at one stage. Love the guy

Holden 6, tired again but you can see he's got talent

Coke 6, couple of dodgy back passes but solid enough

ladybit 7, still not fit but you can see the difference he is starting to make

Helan 7, best game for a while

JJ 9, awesome

Lita 7, worked very hard for the team

Kirkland - 6 - Gave away the penalty, should have collected the cross for their second. Dealt with everything else OK, but most was straight at him.

Buxton - 7 - Kept charging down the wing, but a lot of the time the pass didn't come or was played too late. Was solid enough at the back.

Llera - 7 - Won everything in the air, except for their goal. His delivery was poor overall from corners and freekicks though.

R. Johnson - 8 - An absoloute beast. So strong and doesn't stop running. Kept swapping positions with Helan and their defense didn't know who to pick up, solid at the back, a few stray passes though. Loved it when he was the furthest player forward on the right hand side, telling Lita to cover for him. I love him.

Holden - 6 - Steady. Didn't offer a lot going forward, but when we gave him the ball he manage to play us out of trouble in a calm manner. Would prefer to see him in the centre.

Ole - 7 - Strong and powerful in possession. Got crowded out at times, but overall a decent game.

Coke - 6 - A few poor passes that almost played us into trouble, slow at times to pick out the run of Buxton. Not his best game, but not his worst.

Helan - 7 - Runs and runs, lacks support at times, and needs to get his head up more. Starting to build a good relationship with Reda down that left hand side.

Lita - 8 - Great penalty, lacked service today but looked dangerous when we attempted to get in behind. Had a good chance at the end of the first half, one on one, but off balance and hit it straight at the keeper.

Johnson - Great first half. Scared them from the off. Couldn't handle his pace and his finishing with both feet was sensational. Was a lot quieter in the second, but popped up with the goods when we needed him, you couldn't ask anymore than that. Superb performance. The referee seemed to be happy to let the opposition elbow him, kick him, and drag him to the floor.

Subs -

Lee - 6 - Offered more than Holden in terms of urgency to close down, except for their second where he was sluggish to close down. I like him though, hope to see him start next week.

Howard - 7 - In the second half we were giving up possession too easily at times, not getting to the first ball or the second. But when Howard came on he was strong in the air and helped up have an outlet that would win the long ball, just what we needed when Blackburn were begining to be on top.

Maguire - Not enough time, but looked lively with the ball at his feet, his shooting and crossing was poor though.

Gardner?

 Oh yeah, I missed him.

Gardner - 7 - Good in the air, tried to play it on the deck more often that Llera did. Decent game, steady.

Did n't like the way the midfield back pedaled into the back four for the first 25 minutes of the second half. Think Holden leaves a lot to be desired in these end of season scaps, he has nither the strength or pace. A pitty really as Blackburn were like a Rabit caught in the headlights for  the first 45 and last 20.

Had we kept our foot on the gas we could have had that run away score one or two of you were on about yesterday.

As for individual performances Llera does not like being cramped by midfield and his game suffered for those 25 minutes. Also this was the time Holden ranout of steam and Buxton was exposed...Things improved after the substitutions all over the pitch and Blackburn were made to look second best...7's all round Holden and Llera 6+ with a 9 for JJ and an 8 for Lita.
