Guest TC OWL
Anybody else wonder if Chris Kirkland knows what he's doing? First of all drops the ball in today's game against Blackburn, then brings the forward down when he's being pushed wide and two of his defenders have the goal covered anyway. I'd also like to know what the hell Bywater has done wrong anyway?

Dan™
In all seriousness, despite a bit of an off day today, he'll likely be the only player we'll get Premiership interest from in the summer. He's easily up there with the best in the Championship and has plenty of years left in him if the injuries stay away.
WayneTheOwl
He does have a point! Of late: 2 goals against Cardiff - his fault 1 goal against Bristol City - his fault (he should have gone down clutching his face like most do). 1 goal against Blackburn - his fault. Could have come for the ball early then decided to carry on the suicide mission. He is not blameless people. His kicking was also shocking again today. That said, I wouldn't swap him for many other Championship keepers.

WayneTheOwl
bristol city goal he was blatantly fouled. end of True not saying he wasn't. But when a keeper is fouled that said keeper should go down and will 99% of the time be given the free kick. The fact that he was too honest cost us! There are plenty of good saves he has made but I can quite easily suggest 7/8 goals conceded where he should have stopped them. At least.
