ttimeowls
I have said this before on here but why is he not playing ? Surely after the performances that won games for us eg Bolton / hull away he deserves to be playing
One of the Sing Boys
Good enough to be picked to face a team that beat Barcelona, LAST season, but at our club he will need another 7 years to develop.
ThisCityIsOurs88
He should be playing. Prutton, Pugh, Semedo & even Coke, are nowhere near as good.
Sinner
Good enough to be picked to face a team that beat Barcelona, LAST season, but at our club he will need another 7 years to develop. Using that logic Barnsley must be world beaters as their starting 11 were good enough to be picked against Man City in the cup. I'm not sure what I've posted makes any sense at all, should fit in well tonight on here.
Beholder
My main gripe today was semedo coming on to protect the lead. Doesn't work, he can't control possession and we end up getting deeper and deeper.
Guest UpTheOwlsss
pugh never does anything prutton picks up a booking every game and when he gets the ball he thinks booting it clear first time is a good option coke is the best of a bad bunch Olifinjana is class mccabe is pretty good holden-more time to judge but looks decent coke -Decent Prutton and pugh arent good enough end of

Guest Sheff Owl
I just get the feeling he doesn't think McCabe is ready yet, like Corry and Mayor. I think McCabe could offer a lot but again it's a Lee situation over again.

fudge27
IF and it's a big if McCabe does get chucked in and fails to perform, and the loving crowd we have turns on him and boobs a dents his confidence, as it has done with many other young players, then McCabe could be another on the long list of players who we chucked in rather then nurture and develop. Let DJ work out the team, im sure McCabe will have a big role here next season
trevdi9
was quite impressed when I saw him tbh ,never figured after, funny that ,
hdan450
Great player, and will only get better Maybe it is because of the style DJ is wanting to play at the minute... Maybe because of the situation as well, relegation battle, and DJ is wanting players in there who have had similar fights in their career Who knows He does get stuck in, but his general defensive play isn't the best and something he does need to learn... ttimeowls
Well all that said regarding putting him in if it does not work well and wait till next year what's the point if we are in league one. ?
ThisCityIsOurs88
McCabe probably likes to pass it instead of hoofing. Hence why he's not in the squad.

fudge27
Well all that said regarding putting him in if it does not work well and wait till next year what's the point if we are in league one. ? Becasue as daft as it may sound, relegation for the team while bad wouldn't be a total disaster. Teams have recently gone and got double promotions. We enjoyed one of the best years of our recent history the year after been relegated, but if McCabe plays in the team that goes down and it affects him we may lose a player who we could one day regard as among the best to have worn the shirt. The player development side of the club which has needed rectifying for years is finally coming along and people are complaing, maybe we're just not used to it as a fanbase
