They've been banging on about this in the press all week. Even their manager. But it's not their cup final...

who has,and in what press, the 'Sheffield star'?

every other thread on here is just a childish insult about 6 fingers and incest,it int our cup final mate.

Dawson, o'brien, Hassell, flicker. The latter taking a few pot shots in our direction. Not much from the Weds camp about Barnsley though. Were aware how important this game is but haven't felt the need to talk about it as much obviously.

Well it was hardly going to be the national press now was it?

its important because of where we both are in the league, nowt else......I saw DJ on calendar,he seems aware of the implications of this match, for both teams.

For goodness' sake, be realistic! Anyone who is foolish enough to post on another club's supporters' forum can hardly expect a warm welcome, can they? It's banter and jest and one of the last places you can actually have a laugh at someone else's expense (and I;m certainly including comp. tickets to Jongleurs - what a waste of time!) without ending up in court number 1 at the Palace of Self-righteous Justice for "discrimination". Believe it or not, if you were drowning then I guess most of us (maybe not all!) would actually try to pull you out of the water.

Bless you

HRH Wendy

Agree 100% with Ash on this one.

United got a massive shock last year with the sheer hostility of the entire day. From the whole build up, to the 'tram incident' on Hillsborough corner, the team coach getting blocked getting into the ground with the toy pig put on the windscreen, to the massive sheer hostility inside the ground.

Have to think all this had a huge effect on the eventual outcome.

Let's give them something to think about especially when the team coach arrives. Not advocating violence or anything like that, just sheer fanatical hostility. Otherwise there is a danger they could use the occasion and the atmosphere to feed off and turn it to their own advantage. Don't let it happen. Let's make the whole experience extremely 'unpleasant' for them from start to finish.

COME ON WEDNESDAY!!!!!

Is this Dingle really trying to play down how much it means to them? You only have to go to the away fixture to see the hatred towards us.
