That's before you mention all have oodles of experience at higher levels. We simply cannot complain.
Bluesteel
I'm unsure whether Howard will score many, but I don't think goals is the main reason we've brought him here.
gurujuan
Not quite sure how Howard's a goalscorer. He might have been once but he certainly ain't now
Guest wilyfox
Olofinjana has presence, and Howard is a nuisance - but Holden is the one we really need to deliver.
gurujuan
Yeah the two midfield boys look useful, but we still lack a cutting edge.

Guest wilyfox
Yeah the two midfield boys look useful, but we still lack a cutting edge. Because we're not keeping the ball and creating much. If Holden performs to his abilities, Lita should find himself more involved.
gurujuan
Yes I agree, a five man midfield working the ball up to Lita.
OhForAnotherShez
Sincerely wish them the best of luck. Now I know what Spurs fans felt like when Booth went there on loan.
Dick_Turpin
Can't complain.......even if Messi came some fool on here would moan. Upsetting the balance I can see it now Or maybe we complain about this according to wikipedia Stuart Holden Last 2 seasons - P3 Gls 0 Seyi Olofinjana Last 2 seasons - P21 Gls 0 They've hardly played. And as for Howard - they're jumping for joy in Hartlepool that their 3 goal centre forward has left them. They might be wrong- he could be the white Benteke - but we weren't wrong about Sidibe were we? I flipping hate loans - we'll have half a team of them again. Half a team of blokes who aren't our players. It's one of the worst things about modern football.

trevdi9
if the two midfield lads hit the ground running it's good business , but sorry the juries out on Howard ,funny how the age issue disappears when someone is signed ,but I will support no matter what ,
gurujuan
My thoughts too, the two midfield lads will do a job but Howard looks a bizarre signing to me. I understand that he may win his fair share of headers but it's a signing that hardly cures our scoring ills. None of this is his fault of course and if he comes on I'll give the guy a cheer. Guest WESTENDOWL
We really only know what we read/hear about the players we sign on loan, we don't see them week in week out and parent clubs only send players out on loan for there own benefit so lets give the lads a chance
Dick_Turpin
Right on cue a doom merchant walks through door. Are you going Saturday?? If you mean me yes I am. Of course I'll give them a chance. They were all good players once -but next season they won't be here. I want a club with players I identify with who are our players. I don't want to be a club that gets players fit for teams like Hull and Bolton. Despite bringing in masses of players at the start of the season we'll end it with half a team of loanees. trevdi9
can't fault that Ricky our own players should be priority ,so either they are not good enough or dj aint getting the best out of them consistently enough ,from what I have seen when we get the ball down we seem to do well enough ,but then it's like someone throws a switch and hoofeball ensues ,what the answer is I don't know ,

Jackie Sewell
Just need to get over the stay up line now, all that matters is the next few games, and we look stronger than we did after the Cardiff game.
