Recommended Posts

Dont think anybody knows what Barnsley got allocation wise, seen all kinds of numbers branded round from 2,500 to 5,500 but then hear they've only got top tier but then somewhere else i hear if they sell out the top tier they can then have tickets for the lower....but i do know that they madr their allocation ALL TICKET...

I'd happily bet anyone a tenner that we break 30k but everyone knows the "official" figures are always a bit light. Milan drives home with a bag of cash on matchdays.

Exactly 7500 left now.

Kop - 2734

North/Grandstand - 2279

South - 2487

According to the Sheffield Star, Barnsley got an initial allocation of 3,000, rising to 4700 if required.

We have sold a thousand tickets in the home end in the last 24 hours.

Exactly

4 days left

People still to be paid

Only 7500 left

It's gonna sell out

Barnsley only got upper tier though haven't they so lower tier and NW corner will be empty (approx 3500) so with 7500 left that's 11,000 seats which means approx 28,000 sold - still some way to selling out (in fact it wont sell out at all if NW corner isn't in use will it?)

You can only sell out your tickets

If an areas closed then you can still sell out the available tickets

Or

You have a ground holding 40,000 of which only 30,000 seats are sold

That's NOT a sell out is it?

Yes. A sell out means selling all the tickets that are able to be sold. It was a sell out vs Wycombe, even though there was still 1500 tickets remaining out of just shy of 40,000.

Accoring to some Barnsley supporters, they are now selling tickets for the lower tier.
