Wednesdayites Close, Far And Wide

Recommended Posts

I've been working at different parts of the country recently and I'm rather amazed at how many Wednesday fans I've seen or bumped into. Working in Gainsborough I saw an elderly gentleman wearing a Wedneaday jacket. In Newark, a lass asked a bunch of us who we supported before telling us she supported Wednesday. Two minute later I saw a bloke wearing a Wednesday scarf.

I know that is quite a cool story (bro), but where have you seen a Wednesday fan knocking about (excluding within Sheffield/South Yorkshire and away fans of course).

It just goes to show how MASSIVE we are.

lol

Every time Im on holiday, and every time Im working away.

Apart from the local team  depending on where I am and your Manchester United s  Liverpool's  Arsenals Rangers and Celtic I tend to find that Wednesday followers are up there, It may be just because I take more notice but we do seem to have a MASSIVE following

I went to a wigan game v west brom @dw with the mrs and a few mates. My mrs had gloves on which have the club badge on, at half time these two older fellows sat next door tapped her on the shoulder and said"you've come along way havent you?" This was then follwed by "we're wednesday too" ... Absolutely unbelievable bumping into your own kind at another clubs ground where your not playing. ....... And the 1st place goes to warringtonowl :-)
