owlZfan84
Get them 2 in the middle of the park against Barnsley; providing Coke is fit. Not knocking Pugh/Lee/Prutton, but we were crying out for creativity in the midfield on Saturday, which is one of the reasons we looked so ineffective for the majority of the game IMO. WayneTheOwl
Totally agree McCabe & Coke. Prutton has shown why he struggled to get in a League 1 side.
Guest intercity0wl
Totally agree McCabe & Coke. Prutton has shown why he struggled to get in a League 1 side. For me 2 out of them three are simply not anywhere near championship standard, and the other one needs a bit more time yet before he can be consistently considered that, thast is the reason we are struggling at this level #needbetterplayerstocompetesuccesfullyatthislevel
ramone
Coke and McCabe looked really good against Hull in the first half. I'd go with these 2....
twolaptops
Prutton & Pugh ? I need a Bacardi & Coke
Mike Hunt
Mcabe and Maguire should get a start
oh_weds_we_love_you
My concern would be with Coke and McCabe in central midfield, who does the tackling, breaking up of opposition attacks, and the tracking back...?

LiamK2292
Prutton has done nothing wrong to be dropped from the side.
Gude
Coke does Why does everyone love Coke? He gives the ball away so many times, yet because occasionally he wins the ball back from a situation that only came about because of his poor touch and poor distribution everyone jumps on the band wagon and thinks he is god. He really isn't.
WayneTheOwl
Ok what about Semedo back then? Another not good enough for Championship Football. This has been our problem all season, we have had nothing in the central of midfield, no ball player, no goalscorer, no one who can create. Jack poo poo really. He really isn't. At least Coke shows some sense of adventure when he has the ball and attempts to create for the strikers. Prutton is a useless lump, a lower rate League 1 player (hence his loans and lack of first team football last season). Coke is nowhere near God, not even remotely but offers more than Prutton. McCabe also does.
fpowl
Coke and Mcabe would be too open McCabe sits back and his good in possession but his aggression just is not there yet to protect that back for we are in a scrap and we need to be resolute at the back We have picked up some solid points in this back half of the season buy playing how we are pretty or not, Prutton and maybe Semedo for me if we have players like Helan Lita, JJ and Maguire up top that should have enough to provide and explosive counter with an end product against the lower teams If we expose our self and fall behind other teams will sit back and again looking at the quality at the frontline above I would find it harder to brake down teams
jp1981
I would play a midfield of McGuire. Coke. Prutton. McCabe. Helen / Jj with Lita up front.
fpowl
I would also for the record go with a fit coke, lacks that bit of quality but is a much needed box to box my previous post suggested Semedo which would be regarding Coke is not fit
tomhollywood
Prutton is one booking away from a 3 match ban so the centre midfield will be changing very soon i'd imagine.
oh_weds_we_love_you
Coke does Coke does the breaking up of play, tackling and tracking back? I must have missed that one!

McCabe also does. Prutton does his job, he works hard and breaks up play. Nobody ever pretended he was going to create any chances, he helps the defence out. Coke isn't good at anything. He can't pass and every tackle he puts in is a fairy tackle. McCabe is our best CM, yet does not get played.
