Recommended Posts

The Wednesday's all time highest scorer died 68 years ago today. Debuting in 1900 he played for Wednesday for 20 years.  In 545 (curtailed by WW1) appearances he scored 216 goals (or 217!)  He played 6 times for Scotland and whilst at Wednesday won 2 League Championships and one FA Cup.

Very relieved to see that unlike his brother, his choice of shorts didn't extend to the "David Seaman" Grandpa style.
