Big decisions for and against us this season

Recommended Posts

DJ has (rightly IMO) blamed the ref after another huge decision against us today. I'd like to tot up the big decisions for and against us this season to see how hard done by we have been. I can't remember them all though, so help me out

FOR

Barnsley (A) Madine shove on keeper leads to O'Grady goal

AGAINST

Watford (A) Blatant handball on line by Nosworthy, should have been pen and straight red

Leeds (A) Blatant handball by (?), again should have been pen and straight red

Notts Forest (H) Two handballs in box not given

Bristol City (H) Madine handball in box, very similar to above, given against us

Bristol City (H) Referee blows up for Llera talking/shouting at him as we put the ball in the net to deny Madine a last minute equaliser

Huddersfield (A) Helan brought down in the box, gets booked for diving, replays showed contact

Blackpool (H) Blatant foul on Antonio in the box not given

Huddersfield (H) Pen given against McCabe for handball where ref initially waved play on, was never a pen

Wolves away. Ridiculously obvious foul on Antonio in the box. It happened so early in the game though that the ref bottled it.

By the sound of things tonight though, we should have been out of sight by half time regardless of crap refereeing decisions.

DJ sent a shed loads of vids off to the FA about these decisions and they admitted most of them was wrong.

But the damage is done..,It makes no difference after the event..But the fact remains we continue to be on the crappy end of the stick here.

And it's all well and good saying we should win despite the refs but for instance had we gone in at half time at 0-2 up..That game may have been different..As others would have been.

The refs are Floppy Willy Wangers-FACT!

Barnsley a Ref apologised to Madine last week and admitted he should have sent Barnsley player off for foul on him

Wolves a. Clear penalty for foul on Antonio

Hull h. Clear penalty for foul on Antonio

Watford h. Watford player should have been sent off for foul for penalty ( lines then missed it) but bizarrely only given yellow card

Southampton a. Penalty given against us when incident was outside area

Hull a. Coke disallowed goal. Just bizarre

Hudds. H. Second penalty against us was that point blank one which was impossible to avoid

Brizzle. H. And forest. H. Almost identical incidents of ball bouncing up and hitting 'defender' on top of arm. Marines was given against us and the forest one wasn't given. What a surprise

I'm sure there are lots and lots more. When will stuff even itself out exactly ?

Please add to the list of sins againt :

Some Barnsley stinky flaps should have been sent off for nearly snapping Madine in half - net gain 0 points as we won 1-0 anyway thanks to an indiscretion missed FOR us.

Some Leeds stinky flaps *1 should have been sent off for nearly snapping O'Grady in half - net gain would have been 2 more points. We'd have been playing 9 men, as snapping half stinky flaps and handball stinky flaps*2 would have been off, plus subsequent penalty for handball stinky flaps handballing it in the area.

*1 - Michael Brown

*2 - Luciano Becchio

So far.....

FOR

Barnsley (A) Madine shove on keeper leads to O'Grady goal

Huddersfield (A) Helan should have been sent off for two yellows but ref confused him with Antonio ( lol) (but the first yellow should have been a pen to us so doesn't really count)

AGAINST

Watford (A) Blatant handball on line by Nosworthy, should have been pen and straight red

Leeds (A) Blatant handball by Becchio, again should have been pen and straight red

Leeds (A) Horrible foul on O'Grady by Brown, should have been straight red

Notts Forest (H) Two handballs in box not given to us

Bristol City (H) Madine handball in box, very similar to ones not given for us v forest, given against us here

Palace (H) (pen that never was)- don't remember this myself- think I missed this game

I think we could name about 10 blatant decisions against us. The penalty that Leeds got at Elland Road, where our defender uphended their striker near the centre circle being the most obvious.

BUT... I can also (taking the rose tinted specs off) recall a similar amount of decisions favouring us. We got one tonight, for example.

It's football. Shiiiit happens.

For: Gardner blatent handball vs palace was a light yellow - they were basically through on goal otherwise

Was on the halfway line, and although they had a great break on which they could well have scored from it couldn't have been a red because the player denied by the handball wasn't through on goal. Gardner knew what he was doing.
