Leon Clarke breaking his own toe on the advertising hoardings against Palace, Gordon Watson's dive against Leeds, Derek Geary clattering Brighton's Leon Knight. mrgund Posted March 4, 2013 Share Posted March 4, 2013 (edited) I can remember sitting down to watch this (I was 11 years old) and getting that horrible sinking feeling when Wegerle scored. Then when half-time came. Wow, what a feeling to be a Wednesdayite at that time. Watching it back now .... when Warhurst powered through on goal for the 3rd and that roar went up and then seeing all the fans behind the goal. Proper goosebump stuff. It really was magical following Wednesday back then. You think of some of the crap that we watched under people like Irvine and it just goes to show that when you're up there and enjoying nights like this .... make the most of it and enjoy it!
