dunsbyowl
Seems like 3. The start of that amazing rollercoaster ride and Megson's last match in charge. What a great day that was. Cheers Mego and COG!

DobbinTheDonkey
The Megson Rob Jones one is one of my favourites, with hindsight it has a lot of meaning to it.

matthefish2002
Remember having a drink afterwards in the Shakey and how happy people were. Great when a simple Football game can do that to people.

Bluesteel
What a dramatic year it has been since that game. It's one of my best days out watching football, the atmosphere surrounding the game in the pub and everything. Even the blades chanting "we're going up your not" to me and my brother as they trundled past on the tram after the game, pretending they weren't bothered
Bluesteel
I loved megson, proper legend in my eyes Whilst it seemed harsh on him at the time, as I've said many times it couldnt have ended much better for him. He's still highly regarded here which was always at risk when he became manager and played his part in sorting us out. The derby win (and the draw at the sty) is folklore stuff.
