buxton cb, lee rb?

Recommended Posts

not bashing taylor etc but against a striker more mobile than zigic

taylor might struggle. against a big lad he'll probably do well.

buxton has good pace for a cb and has played well there before,

stronger than he looks and good positioning, anticipation etc.

lee is unlucky to be on the bench, away from home at least maybe he

should play right mid with antonio coming on if needed for now,

or antonio up top if wickham goes.

if antonio continues to start and played for 90 tho, what do people

think about buxton at cb with lee rb when gardner's out?

Hasn't really been considered for a centre back role has he, though may have been down to the lack of options at right back. Could be a short term option. As for Lee being unlucky to be left out, ditto Jermaine Johnson, that's what happens when you start to get a competitive squad.

taylor got praise for a decent show against a donkey but he'll

get slaughtered on here if a pacy striker tears him another one.

might do him and us a favour to at least consider buxton covering at cb

with lee rb against a pacy front line imo, we wouldnt have to defend

as deep either.

That donkey who cost 5 million quid and is on more than probably our entire first 11 put together?

I think he should rest Antonio for a bit or keep him on the bench for a few games. Then Lee can play in his regular position.
