leetheowl
Why do some clubs insist on frisking you on the way into the ground? It happened at Charlton and somewhere else this season and again tonight. Pathetic!

owls66
Another example of football clubs/police treating fans like their thugs.

Blueblood
Unfortunately while ever there's idiots throwing things at players or bringing fireworks into football matches. Then it's always going to be necessary

Leaping Lannys Perm
I too am sick of being treat like a thug at every away game. However, they did let all fans leave in what ever direction you want at the end of the game, which seems like an increasing rarity these days. Then again, when the away end was the closest one to town, I suppose it is inevitable.

dunsbyowl
I had an apple (the size of a cricket ball) in my coat pocket but despite being frisked the bloke failed to notice it when I got frisked- what's the point!?

Guest AbbeyOwl
surely it would be weirder if it was the other way round Not really my 15 year old son is cuter than my father in his 70's To be fair to the Stewards thought they were really good and they search our fans as there own have been taking missiles into the ground so if it stops idiots throwing things I really have no issue at all in being searched in fact I applaud it Edited February 20, 2013 by AbbeyOwl
Lee A
I rather enjoyed the frisking I got at Charlton a couple of years ago, had a lovely chat with the steward whilst he was being quite improper with me. Bit disappointed he didnt call to be honest.
musingowl
I've said it before and I'll say it again, the best way to speed up these needless frisks is to make noises like you're REALLY enjoying it.
Buxtongent
Happens at ALL grounds, and not just to the away fans. I have been 'frisked' a couple of times this last two seasons, and i'm a 72-y-o Season Ticket holder in the South Stand.
