Guest
Give the bloke credit, he has come in and contributed to a clean sheet. I have given him some stick during his time with us so far and he has clearly struggled. None of us want him to fail but had we lost tonight I would imagine he would have been in for more criticism, we haven't lost and he has done a job so fair play to him. If Gardner is going to be out for a while he may have a role to play, hopefully we can get our first win with him in the side if he plays on Saturday. wiseowl91
Had the odd wobble, but overall was fairly solid. Won everything in the air pretty much and kept Zigic from doing anything worthwhile
Bluesteel
I think he's the kind of player who will do much better with greater protection from midfield. Expose him to a striker on the deck and he's in bother but other than that he should be able to mop things up.
Guest Distraught!
He came into a struggling side earlier in the season. That is difficult for any player. I don't think he's a bad CB at all. Probably one of the steadiest in the Championship when he's on his game. This next run of games could bring out the best in him. senwar
Disgusted that as I walked in, he was announced as a returning player, some owls booed yet brum cheered and clapped him. Had a decent game overal.

owls maniac
He was steady. Some of the Wednesdayites abuse of him is disgraceful though. Heckling one of your own players is unforgivable.

You could hear boos behind from our fans yet could see/hear Brum fans cheer and clap him.

Had a decent game overal. We've done this once or twice this season which is a bit frustrating. Pleased to hear he had a good game. He was steady. B.A Baracus
Man of the match. Didn't put a foot wrong, except turning like a London bus in the first half. Very good performance.
PopePiusX
Yep, some boos when he was named in the line-up too. Idiotic, had a good game too. Zigic is fourteen thousand feet tall and Taylor won plenty of headers, the sitter he missed wasn't his fault at all.
CHRISTIANxOWLx44
He was as good as anybody in the side tonight, centre back partnership was really good.

Having said that though, Zigic wasn't too interested was he? It says a lot about him that he responded like that after a public slagging off from his manager. DJMortimer
Oh, Zigic is awful yes, but any lack of interest isn't going to make him shrink. I bet almost everyone on the team beat him to at least one header and the centre backs easily outfought him. He played a foot shorter than his height. But the defence should still get credit for a decent performance, especially Taylor.
stewtheowl
Even though Taylor has some kind of aversion to using his left foot and he can trap a ball further than I can kick it I thought he did ok tonight. Wasn't too hard up against two forwards who didn't look interested. Even Buxton and prutton beat zigic in the air comfortably, he was dire.
