Shifty Powers
Can't believe that's 7 years ago. I too was at that match and the subsequent match the following season when we sung hi-ho in memory. Still remember that as if it was yesterday. Guest mkowl
Went to that game and remember the shock of hearing about this tragic event My mates from Sheffield actually went past the scene before they shut the road, it certainly shook them up when the news filtered through. As one of the many who trawl the motorways in support of our great club the fact these two never made it home is awful Respect to the Sheff U fans who impeccably observed the minutes silence at the next game

Mountain Owl
Thanks for the nice thoughts Birko Owl and all you other fellow owls. No it does'nt get any easier and Ann (Shauns mum) will be taking some flowers down to the ground tomorrow to place behind the Kop goal. We now have a granddaughter who will be 7 in June who's mannerism and looks are remarkably similar to Shauns, she even torments me exactly like Shaun used to. We will never forget and god bless you all who share our thoughts at this time of every year.

CB31
I remember it like it was yesterday too. Martin Allen's message on the Brentford site about it was great of him, I'm not sure it can still be found but I'd love to see it again. R.I.P. Steven and Shaun.
