Derby bringing 2,000

Recommended Posts

On their website they appear to be quite boastful about bringing 2,000 on Saturday.

This is what it was like the other way round...

ive read their website and i don't think they are boasting, i think the club are putting PR spin on it to flog more tickets, much like SWFC do.

For the people wondering why we get away fans on here calling us arrogant and too big for our boots - this is why.

We would sell a lot more than 3k.

40 miles down the road I would've expected 3 or 4,000. They're supposed to be a reasonably big club.

2,100 as of wednesday morning.

could easily be 3k.

if we played derby away on saturday would we really take another 6k plus?

We always take big numbers to derby.

I've been 6 times & we've not took less than 4k.

We took less than 3k on the prior two visits before this season.

This is why fans from other clubs hate us. We took less than 2000 to Burnley, Hull and Blackburn none of which are far away. We also took less than 4000 to Barnsley which is embarrassing for us. Yes we have good away support but it's not amazing. The way some of you go on it's as if we sell out every away game and make excuses every time we don't. Leeds away following is miles better than us and we will be fighting it out with Forest for 2nd best. We aren't a big game for Derby an they are likely to bring 2500 which is still a good following.

Us & leeds are MILES ahead of the rest.

Someone posted the averages/away attendances a couple of weeks back.
