captain jack
I was a little disappointed today with the size of the crowd but just had a look at other championship attendances and we had the biggest crowd of the day so well done everyone by the way scummy Leeds could only get 19 thou against the top of the league UTOs

Kraschenbern
It does look good for when the new FFP stuff comes in. If we can keep getting bigger gates than the other teams in our division, and we spend wisely, we should hopefully be in good nick over the next couple of seasons. lesbarbeux
Disappointed in the crowd size today, seemed very subdued on the whole too from where I was (on the Kop). Playing a decent team, a lot on this game and good weather.........very disappointed actually.
33
Leeds fans are ripped-off good and proper though aren't they...? Matchday tickets £31 for equivalent of Kop for a class 'A' game, £36 equiv North and South, £38 equiv Grandstand. Even if they are a set of cnuts, that's taking the p1ss...! Dont know what final figure will be but sold 1,300 as of close of Buisness yesterday, which is a bit on the low side

The knock on effect is that the away followings won't pay these prices either. Cardiff had only 446 today and that effects the atmosphere and overall attendance. Despite having a crap attendence, we will have generated the most £'s.
33
Aye, when some accountant looks at the best way to bring revenue in, then dump high prices on your core support... it works great for the income. Promble is that in 10-15 years time, a generation of fans is lost or at best apathetic...! Don't we all just love modern football...? Unfortunately we will have to wait a few more years until the Premiership bubble bursts and a few more clubs go pop, before things get better for the masses. Westfield Owl
Dont know what final figure will be but sold 1,300 as of close of Buisness yesterday, which is a bit on the low side It is compared to the 6000 we took down to their place this season anyway. If we can get 22k against Brighton today, then anything less than 25k against fairly local opposition next week is p*ss poor tbh.
kevtheowl
With the football we are playing at the moment, we should be getting 25,000 with out worrying about what away teams bring. If your posting and not going your missing out.

Don't want to argue but the higher revenue shod bring better players under ffp rules, which means higher up the league which means higher gates. It's self fulfilling - success breeds success. Look at man yoo - as soon as things go boobies it will spiral. Look at the teams that have fallen out of the prem - they just fall and fall. SWFC_Liam
Good to see despite how poor we've been for the majority of this season, we still have the 2nd highest average attendance in the league. As said by others it will be really good financially for the club when the FFP rules kick into action, next week I reckon we'll see a crowd of 25,000+ with Derby bringing around 4,000 hopefully.
