We let him leave by mutual consent? On a free? Is he really not worth anything?

When we let him go to Aberdeen for the season, I thought he'd been hard done by, but having seen Aberdeen play a couple of times on Sky, for the life of me I can't understand why, if those performances are representative of his usual performances, we signed him in the first place. Aberdeen v Hibs last weekend was like watching two pub teams on a Sunday morning.

Can't blame him, he really wanted to make it work with us, but after a bad start, never got another chance.

Wish him all the best, he tried and failed, but I can't remember him saying a bad word about the club.

Move on

UP THE OWLS !

If he was on 5k a week and he left with no payoff then in reality we got 375k for him if he has 18 months left. Not the worst deal this transfer window.

We released him and later that day he signed for Aberdeen for 4.5 years. He must have been worth something even if just a nominal fee?

Probably right H2Owl but if we were t playing him, the. Send him up to the pub league, any fees unfortunately go down the pan.

Just to add some balance - I watched Aberdeen two or three times last season and Reynolds was brilliant.

Plus the streets of Aberdeen were flooded with semen when they got him back on loan, so he's clearly highly though of up there.

Wasn't he once linked with a move to Rangers prior to joining us for a daft sum of money??  To be fair I dont think the guy got a real chance, but life goes on, sure he'll do well back in Scotland or lower league. Only game I remember was Posh at home couple of years ago and to be fair he did well against Makail-Smith who, at the time, was a real goal threat.
