A team may pay a loan fee to borrow a player so that would mean p/boro get some kind of compensation.If he was 250/300k think he would be value.

How is he overrated at £300K/£350K? Bang on budget for us I would have thought.

 

Others must overrate him when two clubs challenging at the top of the championship were after him (the managers anyway)?

 

In Monty Python Style, "are you asking what did Boyd ever do for Peterborough?" - He always looks very good on the ball, reads the game very well, plays down the middle, on the left and in the hole, can tackle well, passes well and scores goals. Simple tap ins and fantastic ones. He knows when to release the ball (which he could pass on to JJ and Antonio), and when he passes the ball into the striker he doesn't belt it behind him, over him, at his arse, or into his ribs, but in front of him, allowing him to do his job and put the ball in the net. 

 

On top of that, last year Peterborough finished in 18th spot, but Boyd still scored 7 goals with one assist less than our top man, when we finished 2nd in a lower division.

 

And I like him a lot!
