'Building a strong future for the club'. Anyone that called for his head must have been deluded, we haven't been in as good a shape for well over a decade now. Good times ahead. tomhollywood
I think people were rightly worried about our position and in fairness to Jones he is turning it around. I do think Jones seems to have a lot of contacts and well respected within the game though and this can only help us as a club.

Guest Lawrie Maddens Hump
Jones says he went to Man City training ground and all of a sudden the star make out that they could be our feeder club. Guest Deleted member
Isn't City's training ground the one with a public footpath around it? Which is why the pictures of Mancini and Balotelli having a row emerged? Maybe Jones wasn't there officially, just taking the dog for a walk? Guest waistline ye diddle
Though I hate city they would be a great team to forge links with. the training/academy they are building around their ground will rival any in the world. They are trying to produce a youth system along the lines of barca. I agree that this probably the star making something out of nowt though. DJ was most likely there to try get helan back and/or another player on loan.
El Wednesday
We were City's 'glamour' pre-season friendly when they were in the third division and us in the Prem. Try telling the kids of today that...
Guest big bernard
Can play both LB & LW so 2 for the price of one, plus only young so fits in with trying to build for the future Can play both LB & LW so 2 for the price of one, plus only young so fits in with trying to build for the future

Prendo's boots
Makes a decent story I suppose... but very poor when all thats happened is DJ goes to Man C to talk about extending a loan....they can say what they want as long as Helan signs!!! Middlewood Owl
All for it if it means more quality players coming on loan, City might have been rivals in the past but we can't compete with them anymore so might as well work with them.
