@owlstalk
Would you say there is a major overhaul of players required or just a few additions? Can you see us changing our strategies when it comes to summer signings ? And if we stop up this season - is mid table next seasons target? Chriss
This season - Survival Next season - Stability. Summer signings, IDK which contracts are due to expire but a couple of decent signings to steady the ship. Hopefully Palmer comes back ready for the Champo at least. Mid table should be a target, assuming survival.
Guest Big Guns
It's promotion or bust next season but this team should be good enough to get us out of league
full fathom five
We need to actually own our own players instead of constantly loaning players who if they fail go back but if they succeed we struggle to sign as their value has increased. Please no more over reliance on the loan market, build a team/squad.
Swiss Toni
This season I'd be quite happy with a 4th bottom finish. If we stay up this season I think Mandaric will be looking to sell the club. Only then can I see money being invested on players.
Worksop Wednesday
kin ell Neil - hit the FF button innit ?! Lets see what happens over next week first. Cant suggest tinkering with a squad when we dont yet know what it might look like and what league we're in sayin that for a start all out of contract should go except Lewis

Animis
I think this season took all by suprise and they underestimated the rise in quality in the championship. I believe DJ wanted to begin the transition to a more cultured player and style to last year, but found the players he chose and the strength in the opposition, and the alarming downturn in the results meant he took a step back and went more direct, and brought in last season's players to prop the club up. Providing we stay up, I think DJ will want to, and hopefully MM will back him to recruit ball playing quality footballers.
Guest totemowl
The L1 players will go as their contracts expire. Otherwise transfer policy remains same as last summer. We'll renew important contracts (eg Buxton). We'll recruit 4 or 5 players with championship pedigree, like the Kirkland and Gardner signings. We'll recruit 3 or 4 for the development squad that will serve as squad fillers. Top 6 is target, but really it's mid table.
lukestheman82
Depends if Uncle Milan finds us a buyer or not....New buyer would be an unknown quantity, still have Milan ...... think more of the same.
tomhollywood
I honestly believe that whilst MM is at the helm our policy will be the same, do it with loans and spend as little as possible. We've had a few years now to figure out how he works and the picture is fairly clear. With this in mind, personally I'm happy to slowly build and allow DJ time and accept staying up/mid table as a reasonable aim. I do think some fans are going to need a big reality check though, there are huge amounts of money thrown around in this league and it's blatantly obvious that we can't or don't want to compete with that. Fair do's MM.
Guest wilyfox
Up to Milan and our budget for next season. Fans will always want more wins and better performances, the manager will always want better players.

Fair do's MM. completely agree with this. I think its the best approach at the mo, its far too easy to spend a lot of kudos on poo in football. TheEnchanter
Depends what the budget is, if its similar to last summer id suggest spending our money on fewer players and buying 2-3 quality additions and 1-2 loans or freebies. Not 14 players. If its similar to this January then we'd be looking to ship a few out and probably disappointingly be bringing in freebies and loans. I hope it isn't the latter. Sonny
The entire squad needed overhauling last summer. Hopefully this summer we'll still be in the championship and so can take a more targeted approach to improving the first team.

Indeed it did, but most didn't work......Or some of those that did, only just recent....Just as recently as we recalled Coke and Prutton to the starting line up............Not saying Coke and Prutton are our saviours ofcourse, just saying the overhaul didn't work that great. Agree FFF but tbh they said they would only loan someone they could buy last season to save Marshall and Antonio sagas hopefully helan won't be another will he won't he drama
Hawkeye
Two centre backs minimum. Keepers and full backs are good enough Experienced centre mid Goalscorer Four players would be decent, another overhaul would cause the same issues as this season
