RobbieOwler
Someone (probably a Owltalker) has wrote on his Wiki page:'It was confirmed on 4 January 2013 that he would be leaving Cardiff at the end of January. He will be signing for Sheffield Wednesday.'...and now Cardiff has signed Mad Frazer Campbell today, it seems like this rumour could be true.Just on this speculation surely this is worthy of an article in tomorrows Sheffield Star? Guest alwaysaowl
I said last week he was the most likely striker will be with us shortly
Guest wilyfox
I don't think Campbell's signature has anything to do with Earnshaw's future. Mackay said Earnie wouldn't get games at Cardiff regardless of his desire to return.
Beholder
Well he is a proven goalscorer at this level who still has age on his side. Would be pretty happy with this tbh.
Spookone
He may no longer be a world beater but compared to what we have and some of the other candidates I would be delighted with Earnshaw, I think he is exactly the kind of striker we need (and Wiki is always 100% reliable)
bladeshater
For me earnshaw is on par with sidibe no ambition with either signing, may as well stick with what we have.
Bannofan
Whenever anyone posts a ' has anyone seen this on Wikipedia' they are basically saying ' look at what I have changed on Wikipedia, aren't I just the craziest? '

Beholder
For me earnshaw is on par with sidibe no ambition with either signing, may as well stick with what we have. 1. He is proven to score goals at this level. What we have are not. 2. 'Ambition' would mean going out and spending money we don't have and wages we can't afford. 3. If there is a gem out there available for nothing, you would say the same thing. Therefore, With your logic, the manager can't win.
Guest wilyfox
I'd take Earnshaw over Scotland, but not over DJ Campbell. He's still my first choice - even though Hull will probably get him.

Wood,dj cambell, church, fuller are 4 players just of the top of my head all loaned to champonship teams this season all better than anything we have had all season

Also- it's easy to criticise in retrospect but we all thought Bothroyd was a great signing at the time.

Agreed on bothroyd mate i believe he would more suited to the set up jones as played in the last two games he is far better footballer than we saw and it was not all his fault it was two way it did not work out. Bluesteel
Agree with Beholder. In our current situation financially, Earnshaw probably represents our best bet. Still quite quick and has a good shot on him.
brownowl91
Only player to score a hat-trick in all 4 English leagues and international level, sure that sidibie won't have often scored more than 3 in a season never mind a game!!
sheffield_dave
A marked improvement over what we have and would be our only striker with proven Campionship scoring pedigree. Pity it probably won't happen.

dorian gray
was talkin' to an ardent coventry fan 'bout 10 days ago... he said that earnshaw was roumoured to be signin' for them, and was at their game... i said "he'll probably have half a dozen irons in the fire, and you'll be at the bottom, HE'S BEEN LINKED WITH US"...
