Belfast Owl 2
F*cking painful decision to make but reckon it needed to be done. Hoping to get over to Cardiff game on March 16th instead. Was really looking forward to the trip over as well. But if the match is off it would have been a dear weekend for nothing and possible travel problems on the Sunday. Hope the match still goes ahead but wasn't willing to take risk.

Don't blame you at all - looking at the forecast, your side of the Irish sea is going to see some serious snow before it reaches us anyway

Ever the pessimist
The game will be on; persistent but light snow this side of the Pennines. It would be the Manchester section of your journey that may have caused you problems.
PortlandOwl
Was planning to travel up from London on Saturday but dont think its worth the risk....going to re-book tickets for Palace match next month. One thing I would say, is its good to see how far people do travel on a regular basis to home matches. Well done everyone.

As I said I hope game goes ahead but just didn't have confidence it would. But was only one of the reasons for the decison
sweetsheri
Think i might be missing this one looking at the forecast...trouble is there is no easy way over the pennines! Gutted as we are going to win!
Guest mikeglossopowl
As usual, it depends on Woodhead, because the Snake is a nightmare in summer. I think the game will be on and I'll be there (crosses fingers!)

mirodo
I'm another one (hopefully) coming up from London. Only cost me £10 on the coach. As long as i can get to Sheffield, I'll be happy - if the match is off I'll just spend the day in the Sheffield Tap!
