Guest Sweet&TenderOwl
If only that were the real table Problem being its upside down as far as we're concerned in reality. Barring the Hull performance we've been awful and are down the bottom on merit. Let's hope Hull isn't ultimately a one off.

Guest Sweet&TenderOwl
Do you know how form tables actually work mate ? Yep, teams don't get promoted or relegated over a handful of games. It's a marathon. It's well and good looking tasty against Hull, but we need a lot more of those type of performances to stay up, regardless of our current form. Guest Sweet&TenderOwl
The form table isn't from just the Hull game I know, but the Hull game was the first time this season we looked like a Championship team. And the first time in my opinion we showed the quality, character, fight and spirit required to stay up in this tough division.

Ron Atkinson's 1989/90 team looked fabulous and played some tremendous football, but it still got relegated. That's actually a reason to feel not negative but nervous. Team at the very top playing at home to the team at the very bottom. You know what comes next, don't you? The Sod's Law jinx. @owlstalk
If the league started 6 games ago - we'd be top of the league - and all those anti-jones folk would be sucking him off FACT Owlstalk Shop
Guest Sweet&TenderOwl
Irrelevant Look at the table That's FACT for you - not your opinion on how we 'looked' I'm more positive of our chances of staying up after the Hull game. The rest of the season before that is why we are where we are and reason enough to be wary. Let's hope we see more Hull like performances, I sincerely hope so. We've been poo poo all season apart from the Hull game. Credit where credit is due for that performance and the current upturn in form but we are where we are for a reason. Because we are poo poo and because of collective mistakes, and a lack of quality. Not a single player would get in Big Ron's team.
