Guest JonTheOwl66
No, it was the season before last. Be sad to see him go, but it wouldn't surprise me.
edinburghowl
Buxton should be our priority first signing for this window. Our most consistent outfield player for the last 2 seasons. McNaughton for Buxton wouldn't be an improvement.
Guest Wilf Marshall
What a shambles if he goes on a free.
geriatricowl
Buxton will have played under Redknapp at Portsmouth at the start of his career, so I suppose he'll know him from then. He'd be a definite loss if he went, but if we got some decent money for him, then it may well be to our advantage to cash in on him so long as that money is re-invested in the team. Joined Stoke in 2004 so he would not have played for Harry at Portsmouth .
yowl84
Sign him up, he's a key member of the squad and a part of the club.
Bluesteel
Would be bad to see him go on a Bosman.
BRADDAZ
So, how does everyone know we're not negotiating with him/ we didn't offer him something but he rejected because he thought a richer club might come sniffing? Who says we have or haven't? None of us know... We just hope we are negotiating with him and hoping he'll stay.
vontemp
As much as I rate Buxton there's no way he's good enough to play in the Premier League.
Dagmeister
As much as I rate Buxton there's no way he's good enough to play in the Premier League. Some said that he wasn't good enough for the Championship. They were wrong.
Shifty Powers
Bit slow to get going I thought and with his injury didn't help the situation either. But he has been solid all season and mr consistent- a class act. Get him signed up. Should be one of our priorities for sure.
ThisCityIsOurs88
Really can't see him going to QPR when they are signing players worth millions. Hope he signs a new deal with us, it should have been sorted by now to be fair.
