Not really, I hated the grandstand as a kid, couldn't see owt from way up there.

Another great idea by Strapon upset regular ST holders by shifting them and putting kids in the middle of foul mouthed fans instead of a recognised family area

Anyway - the pics of the new grandstand being painted are ace - the place looks great now !

Can't wait to take my son in a couple of years (he's only one ATM, and got a little scared at daddy on Saturday for shouting YES!!!! And jumping around like a loonie as our 2nd went in)

Face painting, dancing, story time, meet the players. Great stuff for the littl'uns! I'd be proud to take him to that!

Should attract a fair few fans back, it wasn't a good decision to move the family area away from the grandstand (despite it having the best view in the ground). Parents up there know where their kids are, they can't go far.

Anyone got any pics of the mural painted top of the stairs in the Grandstand. Reminds me of the Belfast gable end murals.
