The Faye Fair Way of Tackling

Recommended Posts

Was a very hard tackle and in this day and age is a sending off, if he'd made contact with JJ he'd have been looking at a big injury lay off. Couldn't believe it when that bell end Beagrie started defending it.

Beagrie defended it because Beagrie is a tw@t

Kompany just got red carded for something that wasn't as bad as this. Faye left the ground and 'scissored' - Kompany was sliding in on the floor. The refereeing these days is so inconsistent. Or is it 1 rule for the premier league and a different one for the football league... Who knows!

*who has the fastest finger to make the Kompany reference* not me!!

Too reyt, back in 70s that tackle would have been applauded all around ground, its supposed to be a mans game.

like the Chester fans after Bennet's "tackle" on Ian Knight?  No problem with strong fair tackling but jumping in with both feet is a bottlers way of tackling as there's no chance of you getting hurt but it could break the other guys leg

Should we have a weekly award for the fastest finger and which saddo would win ?

and yet again we are talking about poo poo refereeing decisions, Awful performance again yesterday, and all the discussions tonight are about deans performance not the quality of football in the Arsenal game. Its really time for the FA to look at the quality of refs and use of technology

In hindsight i'm glad it wasn't a sending off. We outplayed and soundly beat second in the league 11v11. 11v10 and that's what everybody, including ourselves, would have focussed on in the end

It should have been AT LEAST a yellow though
