asteener1867
If JJ had made a meal of it...the bugger would have had to walk....too honest by far..
Guest wilyfox
had to see red for that. two-footed airborne lunge. thankfully he took the ball; on another day...leg breaker.
Animis
to be fair to the sky dude - he did say a lot of refs would have red carded that challange. If that had been our player, with the inevitable crowd reaction that would have follwed, i would have expected a red and would have been pleased with a yellow. iceowl14
Last nights ref was way too lenient. Get the wrong mix of teams and it would've kicked off big time. Still....three points is the main thing and JJ didn't get injured from the tackle. UTO

Worksop Wednesday
had to see red for that. two-footed airborne lunge. thankfully he took the ball; on another day...leg breaker. should be red surely? this 'won the ball' argument doesnt stand up for me - surely its 'how' you win the ball hardly surprising he 'won the ball ' with a lunge like that maybe we should use our hands more and as long as we 'win the ball' it'll be ok ?! jasper
A Yellow card would have been sufficient,I thought the summarizer was more over the top than the tackle.
SWFC_Liam
Was a very hard tackle and in this day and age is a sending off, if he'd made contact with JJ he'd have been looking at a big injury lay off. Couldn't believe it when that bell end Beagrie started defending it.
Guest intercity0wl
Like a set of poofs nowadays, back in the eights wouldn't even been a foul! Too reyt, back in 70s that tackle would have been applauded all around ground, its supposed to be a mans game.

ThisCityIsOurs88
Unbelievable that it wasn't even a yellow. Beagrie needs a good slap. What an utter tool.

H2Owl
Unbelievable the ref deemed it as not even a yellow. we can debate whether or not we think it's a straight red but it's certainly a card.

Miffed
If JJ had made a meal of it...the bugger would have had to walk....too honest by far.. A bit like piggy Quinn a bit later on after a somewhat nothing challenge, he rolled around on the floor for ages, clutching his shin, clearly with the intention of getting the player booked. Theres far to many dishonest players at the minute intent on gaining every tiny advantage that they can.

oldishowl
Under the new interpretation it was a cast iron red card. He only won the ball because jj pulled out to save himself from injury. The ref was rubbish. Can you imagine what leeds get away with when he refs them.
