Guest Distraught!
Just as a purely theoretical exercise (forget for a minute the reality or otherwise of this happening), if you were given the choice of two scenarios, would anyone choose the first: Sheffield Wednesday win the FA Cup but are relegated whilst doing so (Pigs are also promoted). MK Dons win at Hillsborough but Wednesday avoid relegation. Is there anybody brave enough to say they would rather win the FA Cup even if it meant relegation? Weshallovercome
That's a pretty fiesty interview by DJ, sounds like we're taking the FA Cup seriously, be nice to get a run in it for a change. *places bet on MK Dons*

Guest phshaw
Bradford is a bit of a surprise in the L.C. When Millwall got to final of F.A. Cup, they had Tim Cahill and Cardiff were a very good side, as we were in '91 when we won the League Cup. However there is not a cat in hells chance of our current team getting even close to Wembley; we simply aren't good enough in defence, midfield or attack. Let's hope we beat MK tomorrow by giving an opportunity to some of the untried players. UTO

If so, I'd take that.
Loppy
TBF he doesn't actually say he thinks we can/will go all the way. He says it not impossible. (Which it isn't. It means beating 6 teams).
torryowl
unlikely but if the draws favourable you never know ....we got to the semi in 83 and never played a top flight club.
sharrowowl
I'd rather he was talking like this than just fielding a team to get knocked out. We won the league cup from the second division in '91 and that was probably tougher than the fa cup nowadays. Yes we had a better team. A cup run would be good for everybody. Who knows a couple of good additions this month and we could be fielding a transformed side come feb. Got to at least sound positive!

the gaffer
Not a cat in hells chance. We will end up drawing some team miles from home on a cold tuesday night, probably in a replay, pick up some injuries/suspensions along the way aswell. Not really worth it tbh. We NEED to stop in this league.
Weshallovercome
I'd take winning the FA Cup over relegation in a heartbeat......it's a no brainer at my age.
