@owlstalk
Glad to finally see Kieron given a chance It's strange how some players are frozen out then all of a sudden thrust straight into the first team like that tho ? Either way - I think he's done really well since coming in... Owlstalk Shop
SallyCinnamon
*Kieran. Reminds me of Sean McCalister, tenacious but also has a footballing brain on him. Reckon we could convert him into a CM player.

Biddy17
well said Neil ,he should have been in ages ago , How do you know??maybe he was shitebag in training or had an awful attitude? If the latter then fair enough on jones keeping him away. But I suppose that's his decision and no other fookers, wether right or wrong for results it's up to the gaffer to decide
owls101
I like him a lot. Baffling it’s taken so long to get him in the team. I think him and Buxton could get a good partnership going. It’s a shame that neither of them got forward regularly on Saturday as I think this should be an outlet for us. Buxton should be able to overlap with confidence knowing that Lee can cover and vice versa.
trevdi9
i knew at the bolton game mate ,it's not hard to tell if a player is decent or not
@owlstalk
I like players that come in and get stuck straight in Kieran and Helan have both done that and been really impressive Owlstalk Shop
DamnedOwl
DJ said he wasn't ready yet so he didn't play him. When he finally gets to play he looks good, so either DJ decided not to play him until he was ready (which is perhaps testament to his promising appearances), or he doesn't know what he's talking about at all. Mike Hunt
I like him , but he was invisible for most of the second half when pushed inside , he is not the answer to our centre midfield problem .
Beholder
I like him alot. I think Jones is possibly thinking of him as a central midfielder. The mccallister comparison is pretty good but Lee has more tekkers and is alot better passer.

Worksop Wednesday
lee has good energy and is enthusiastic even when he lost ball he chased to try and make up seems he wants and knows he needs to impress quickly and is making sure he does wish he had buried that 2nd half chance - he said afterwards he should have scored hope dj keeps him in team
Guest markowl123
Neil, how do you manage to spell his name right in the thread name, then wrong in the main bit?
SallyCinnamon
He closes players down very quickly. Just watch when an opposing player gets the ball in his area of the pitch, he puts them under pressure straight away. If only the we had more players who had his urgency. Guest JonTheOwl66
That's because Buxton tells him too. I heard Bucko shout 'close him down Lee' on Saturday.
Guest wilyfox
He's one of a few that has taken time to step up, and that many assumed prematurely that he was a flop signing. No reason why the likes of Maguire and Mayor can't do the same as Lee...
Beatpusher
Good that he's in now and playing well, but he looked suspect at right back earlier in the season, and could completely understand why Jones wasn't playing him.
