senwar
So the suggestion is to sign one player who's played less than 90 mins championship football and another who's been on loan in League One. For a million. Right.
Mr Farrell
I know things are pretty bad at the minute, but we seem to have a bizarre fixation with Baath. He didn't want to join us, and Wolves didn't want to sell him. Both are fairly big stumbling blocks when you want to sign a player. In any case, we have 2 bigger problems that I'm not sure chucking money at signings will help. Firstly, based on our summer signings and loan signings, I'm not confident we'd sign the right players to keep us up. Not sure if it's DJ or PA calling the shots, but they haven't been the best. Secondly, if we did chuck money at it, we'd still have get things right tactically. DJ worries me on that front as well. Apart from the above, I still think we'll make the play-offs. Guest Wirrowl
Cassidy is a natural goalscorer. Unfortunately we dont have one. I mean I could suggest Defoe if u prefer senwar? Or we could rehabilitate Torres. But I'm not sure that's the market we're in. Up Cassidy and Baath! Edited January 2, 2013 by Wirrowl

fatzooma
We needed 4 players this season...Treacy 400 to 500k. Danny B. 4 to 500k..a quality striker which we may have signed but not yet seen and a quality defender to play next to Gardner..A couple of million invested would have made us contenders....But no...Cheap skate approach has made us relegation fodder! Guest wilyfox
I like Danny Batth, but he'd need the same run of games our other players required in order to make he step up. He has no experience at this level, and we'd have to accept mistakes that we can't afford to make second half of the season. Would rather have someone mid to late 20s with sufficient experience and a few years left on the clock.
